OPPORTUNITY:
MAC Paving Ltd supplemented the delivery and completion of the multi-million revamp of the Northern end of the 319,000ft centre Serpentine Green shopping centre in Hampton, Peterborough.
The Serpentine Green Shopping Centre attracts around 5.5 million visitors each year and attracts a high volume of parking visitors and consumers every week. MAC Paving Ltd worked alongside the Lindum Group to replace, enhance the kerbs and paving elements across the existing car parks and public spaces.
SOLUTION:
A complex job with a 4-5 project timeline, MAC Paving Ltd worked alongside O’Boyles Brothers Ltd to implement a granite set job with 2500m2 for the extension of the shopping centre. To ensure the project was completed to the demanding timeline, MAC Paving Ltd leveraging its access to high quality suppliers and labourers to implement a sustainable paving solution that will ensure the client minimises the maintenance work required and ensures the shopping centre – and surrounding areas – are fit for purpose for pedestrian and car traffic.
OUTCOME:
Serpentine Green Shopping Centre is Peterborough’s leading shopping district with a paving solution that compliments its reputation. As a result, the paving solution that MAC Paving Ltd has provided has ensured both a highly content client and highly content customers whom will use the new leisure facilities restaurant and cafes, modern retail units and parking spaces.
