We have built on decades of experience to become a comprehensive civil engineering provider for the supply and build of large commercial and infrastructure groundworks projects.

Here at MAC Group Ltd, every project is handled with the highest level of safety, attention-to-detail and care. Our Operations team is equipped to manage projects from ground preparation, deep and surface drainage, kerbing, roads and environmental restoration.

January 2015

Founded.

MAC Paving Ltd is incorporated by Stuart and Melissa Maclean. The company provides block-paving services across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

May 2018

Serving The Entire United Kingdom.

With reputation building, MAC Paving Ltd is now a national contractor providing services across the UK. The business now acquires its largest contract for Aldi distribution centres.

January 2020

Expanding The Business.

MAC PLANT (EASTERN) LTD, (t/a MAC Plant Ltd), is incorporated to manage the growing fleet of Plant equipment and also provide hiring services.

July 2022

Not Just A Paving Company.

In addition to paving services. the company now provides full groundworks capabilities, which are rapidly becoming our core business.

September 2023

Plans For Growth.

The work begins to structure the business for future growth as the Civil Engineering and Groundworks contractor of choice for tier 1 clients. Company now provides Materials and Labour supply services.

September 2024

MAC Group Ltd Formed.

MACLEAN GROUP HOLDINGS Limited, (t/a MAC Group Ltd), formed to restructure the existing businesses in preparation for future growth.

January 2025

New Offices Open In Lincoln UK.

MAC Group Ltd opens their new offices at Checkpoint Court in Lincoln. These new Administrative headquarters are home to the Finance, Commercial and Marketing teams.

June 2025

New Development Company Formed.

MACLEAN DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED, (t/a MAC Developments Ltd) formed to provide residential and commercial property development across Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties.

Managing Director

With over 25 years’ experience within the construction, Stuart’s drive sets an unparalleled benchmark in ensuring our reliability and quality of service always exceeds customer expectations.

Over his career he has applied this expertise within a wide variety of commercial with tier 1/2 construction contractors and UK infrastructure projects including the Ministry of Defence.

Stuart founded MAC Paving Ltd in 2015 and has overseen the rapid growth of the company while continuing to enhance his own reputation for reliability, flexibility and an attention to detail within any project.

Stuart is passionate about his work and takes pride in ensuring the entire teams’ work is of the highest standard, ensuring the customer receives what they require, when they require it.

Melissa Maclean

Director

Melissa has overseen the daily Operations of MAC Paving Ltd since the company was founded in 2015. She is responsible for all administrative and financial activities and is our main point of contact for suppliers.

Having accumulated over 10 years’ administration experience within the construction industry, Melissa has been instrumental in supporting the scaled growth of MAC Group Ltd.

By developing trusted relationships with both customers and suppliers, Melissa recognises the importance of an effective supply chain in ensuring project success.

Noted for her diligence and attention to detail, Melissa ensures that all of the back-office functions run in an efficient and timely manner.

Dave Dawson

Director

Widely experienced and proven by results within Operations, Engineering, Business Development and Project management. Dave is the Business Director who is shaping the Group activities for a future of sustainable growth and improved efficiency.

He is a reliable and effective problem-solver with a drive for root-cause and continuous improvement.

• Proficient Project Manager of global assignments, adept at procurement and contract negotiation.
